Very easy scones, very good when you don”t want the sweet ones. I made them not for the first time, but every time I make them, I hear a lot of compliments from my family.
Corn scones with cheese
Time needed:
Yields: 6 servings
Ingredients:
1 glass = 250 ml
- 1 glass corn groats
- 2-3 eggs
- 100 g cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons strach
- 1-2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 clove garkic
- tomato sauce
- salt
- oil for frying
Directions:
- Cook corn groats in the salted water.
- Cool a little bit, then mix in eggs, flour, starch and very finely chopped garlic clove. The dough should be like for pancakes.
- Cut cheese into thin squares.
- Heat a little bit of oil in the pan. Put scones dough with tablespoon into the hot oil.
- When the one side is done, turn scones and put cheese squares on every scone.
- Cover the pan with lid and wait till the cheese melts.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
- Enjoy!
