This recipe I made already three times and it was the best when I fried chicken till very dark colour and only then poured sauce.
Sweet and sour chicken
Time needed:
Yields: 2 servings
Calories: 515 kcal / 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 2 (~300 g) chicken breast
- 2 tbsps. potato flour
- 2 tbsps. flour
- seasonings
- 2-3 tbsps. oil
- Sauce:
- 3 tbsps. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. liquid honey
- 2 tbsps. soy sauce
- 2-3 clove garlic
- seasonings
Directions:
- Cut chicken in cubes.
- Put in a bag chicken , flour, potato flour and seasonings. Close bag and shake that all chicken parts were coated with flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken till it will be nicely brown(if you have leftover of flour mixture, don’t use it).
- In a small bowl mix all ingredients of the sauce. Then pour it over chicken and heat a few minutes more.
- Serve with rice.
